it’s going to be a great week!
We will begin the day with an introduction to vocal exercises and a brief overview of vocal health for the growing vocalist!
During the week, we will work on fun pop & worship music in a choral setting with harmonies. We also give the campers a chance to play instruments if they wish/are interested and learn to accompany themselves and each other.
The campers will be split into smaller groups for a portion of the day, where they will have a chance to collaborate on a song of their choice.
Each camper is encouraged to sing a solo song of their choice during the week and receive one on one vocal coaching tips in preparation for the performance at the end of camp.
We will also have mini workshop days (topics include performance skills, intro to songwriting, and microphone technique) along with time for questions and discussion!
This is not a competitive music camp but a supportive place where we recognize that each of our voices is a unique instrument of beauty and power! The campers don’t need any prior music training, only a love of music! There will be a performance on the final day of camp so each camper has the opportunity to showcase their gift!
Learn how to:
• sing healthfully
• perform confidently
• execute technical skill
• read and write music
